Biography:
"Creating Confident Communicators" is Allison Blankenship’s passion. As the president of Precision Speaking, Inc. and developer of the Precision Speaking System™, Allison has helped people communicate powerful messages for more than 20 years. Based on her own award-winning career in public relations and corporate communications, Allison demonstrates the tools and techniques that empower people to get results.
Allison is an expert on realistic solutions for the everyday challenges of getting your message across, creating buy-in and finding time to get it all done. You get hands-on ideas to impact both your professional and personal life to improve communication, turn conflict into a productive process, plus reduce your stress while managing your time and energy efficiently. And, you get these skills in easy-to-remember and use formats, all delivered with humor and real-life examples.
A graduate of Auburn University with a BA in Communications, cum laude, Allison was named an Outstanding Young Woman of America just two years after graduation. She was a member of the management team that won the Malcolm Baldridge Quality Award for The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company and was awarded the Jim Barber Leadership Award for the state of Florida in 2004. That same year she was named Speaker of the Year by the Florida Speakers Association.
In addition to becoming a more confident and persuasive communicator, Allison is highly sought after as a topic expert in leadership issues, and was selected from 350 speakers to headline the National Women’s Leadership tour sponsored by Rockhurst University based in Kansas City; she has also spoken at Clemson’s Leadership Symposium. She has written training programs for Rockhurst University, Florida Gulf Coast University, Padgett-Thompson Training and National Seminars Group.
Allison has co-authored three books along the way on communication, leadership and life balance to share her insights and knowledge with others. She is also a founder of Life Divas, Inc., a networking and support alliance for women with chapters across the United States.
