Jerry Tabeling

Jerry has 30 years of experience in the information technology market providing turn-key automated business solutions for small and medium sized customers across a wide variety of businesses. Jerry joined DP Solutions (DPS) as a senior analyst in 1976 and rose to assume the CEO role in 1993.
In his role as CEO, Jerry led DPS through the strategic positioning of its core application development, Internet, networking and hardware leasing strengths, while achieving an average 20 - 25 percent annualized growth.
During his tenure, Jerry steered DPS through two successful acquisitions to supplement its organic growth. Beginning in the mid-1990s, Jerry moved DPS toward a more vertically focused sales and marketing strategy in healthcare and wholesale distribution. This enabled DPS to recruit information technology professionals with industry-specific subject matter expertise to penetrate new markets while leveraging its core networking, hardware and Internet strengths.
Jerry assembled a team of highly skilled technicians, business analysts, developers and engineers with decades of practical experience serving public and private businesses; some with revenues in excess of a billion dollars.
Jerry's expertise and background allows him to participate with the technical and delivery aspects of the business, the operational and financial sides of the business, as well as in working directly with customers.
Most recently, Jerry founded IDP, LLC – a consulting practice specializing in assisting businesses access vulnerabilities in their networks, detect intrusions and recommend remediation steps to prevent intrusions in the future through what’s known as Penetration Testing.
As the Internet has become ubiquitous with business and everyday life, Jerry believes protection of our information assets has become more critical than ever. From identify theft, credit card fraud, lost or stolen laptops and compromised business data, IDP works with its clients to protect and secure their valuable (electronic) business assets.
Jerry serves on the Board of TESST College and the CCBC E-Business Program Advisory Board, in addition to local community groups.
