Inspirational Praise & Worship When I hear and see the worship performances that go forth in today's world, I feel troubled in my spirit.

There is so much effort put into making worship services "great events", but great for whom?

If we are made to worship God in Spirit and Truth...then why is it that people are the measure of the success of the praise & worship?

I know this is not a popular subject, but my concern is if our songs of praise & worship come from a self-satisfying, people pleasing, soulish place in us that seeks to produce an effect that emulates the presence of God....then I have to surmise that perhaps a majority of believers have never experienced God's presence.
