Biography:
Ria Botzler is the energetic founder of Strategic Networking, a national business-to-business networking organization headquartered in Albuquerque. Ria formed Strategic Networking to address the flaws in traditional networking situations: lack of structure to the event, time isn’t well spent, and few contacts are made. In the past year, Strategic Networking’s innovative concept, “speed dating for business,” has garnered stories in the local and regional press, and the concept is catching on around the country, including events in Santa Fe, Las Cruces, Denver, Colorado Springs, Chicago and beyond.
As a Dale Carnegie graduate and student of Myers-Briggs personality typing (she’s an ESTP), Ria loves customer service, marketing and sales, and brings her creativity and efficiency to Strategic Networking. In fact, the idea for Strategic Networking came as a direct result of thinking “creatively” on how to solve a particular problem. Ria’s become an in demand speaker because of her innovative ideas that help her clients become more efficient and increase profitability.
Ria Botzler has 15 years experience managing a variety of businesses, and she currently owns Checks and Doublechecks, a bookkeeping company specializing in the needs of small and micro-businesses. For more information go to www.doublechecksonline.com.
She recently presented at the 2007 National Association of Small Business Accountants’ annual marketing conference, 2007 Advanced Accountant’s Marketing Association, and has spoken at numerous Albuquerque area association meetings. She serves as President Elect for National Speaker’s Association of New Mexico and Vice President of Public Relations for Toastmasters Midday Madness club. Ria’s a member of the Professional Association of Small Business Accountants, and was named one of CPA Tech Advisor Magazine’s 2006 40 Under 40 for her forward thinking marketing ideas for small business accounting. She’s also a certified rescue diver and is fluent in Spanish and American Sign Language. |
