Biography:

After seven years of working in human resources and training for the management consulting firm of Booz Allen & Hamilton, and the investment banking firm of A.G. Becker in Chicago, Art saw an opportunity to develop tailored training programs for financial instititions and high technology firms. Together with a colleague, they formed a training firm in 1975 named SDA, whose mission it was to develop tailored sales training.

In 1990, Art sold his stake in SDA and open his own consulting practice, which gave him the opportunity to travel to more than 20 countries, such as Singapore, Germany, Panama, Saudi Arabia, for multi-national, multi-cultural companies. During that period, he published two books on selling financial services and sales management, had more than a dozen articles published, and has spoken at dozens of corporate events and seminars. He has also served on the board of a private school, several advisory boards, and a major country club. He grew up in New York City, went to school in Washington, DC, spent most many years in the Chicago area, and now lives near Houston, Texas.
